  • The combination of skin lightening agents that act on different mechanisms of melanin conversion: azelaic acid, kojic acid, salicylic and mandelic acid, allows you to achieve the best therapeutic result;
  • Azelaic acid, potentiated by mandelic and salicylic acids, has a keratolytic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect. Helps to remove acne, comedones, remove scars;
  • Blocks UV-induced melanogenesis;
  • Whitens and evens out skin tone;
  • Blocks the synthesis of new melanin;
  • By eliminating hyperkeratosis, it allows to achieve uniform penetration of the components during peeling;
  • Fights open or closed comedones and inflammatory skin lesions in the form of papules, pustules, nodes.

Operating principle:

  • Azelaic acid 15% shows brightening properties by inhibiting tyrosinase activity, DNA synthesis and mitochondrial enzymes, thus blocking direct cytotoxic effects on melanocytes. Used to treat post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Because of its selective affinity for abnormal melanocytes, azelaic acid has no depigmenting effect on normally pigmented skin. It exhibits antibacterial properties against Demodexfolliculorum , Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Proteusmirabilis, Candida albicans, while resistance in microorganisms is not formed. It normalizes disturbed keratinization processes in the excretory protocathic glands, thus cleansing the ducts of the glands.
  • Mandelic acid 6% has a pronounced antibacterial, anti-inflammatory effect, keratolytic effect and well renews the cells of the epidermis (thus stimulating collagen synthesis), also has comedonolytic properties.
  • Salicylic acid 2% has a comedonolytic, keratolytic effect. In addition, salicylic acid has anti-inflammatory (inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins), antipruritic, antiseptic, antimicrobial (reduces P. acne), astringent, rejuvenating (accelerates the removal of corneocytes) effect. As a tyrosinase inhibitor, it evens out skin tone.
  • Kojic acid 1% inhibits the production of free tyrosinase by inhibiting it through copper chelation at the active site of the enzyme. Penetrating into the upper layers of the skin, it inhibits the production of epidermal melanin. Has antibacterial and antifungal properties.

  • Azelaic acid 15%
  • Mandelic acid 6%
  • Salicylic acid 2%

Helps the skin to adapt to the irritating action of the acid, evens out the thickness of the stratum corneum to ensure uniform penetration. Biomatrix Pre-Peel Washing Gel can be used as a preparatory agent in home care, it is prescribed 2-3 days before the chemical peel procedure.

Apply a small amount of gel to the skin and lather with a small amount of water, massaging, avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave for 1-2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water. Wipe the skin dry with a tissue.

Apply with a pipette a few drops of Azelaic peeling to the treated area, actively rubbing it along the massage lines. It is necessary to apply peeling on the skin in a certain sequence - from less sensitive areas to more sensitive ones. Areas to be treated - face (including the area around the eyes), neck, décolleté, hands, body. It is allowed to apply peeling in several layers. Exposure time up to 10 minutes. Ultrasonic cleaning is recommended after the skin cleansing stage (before peeling) or after the neutralizer (after peeling).

Without removing the peeling from the skin, apply the Biomatrix Neutralizer in reverse order, starting from the areas with the greatest sensitivity and ending with the areas with the least sensitivity. The exposure time of the neutralizer is 2-5 minutes. Wash off with plenty of water. Dry the skin.

Immediately after the procedure, apply Biomatrix serum or Biomatrix spray. Inform the patient about the need for post-peel care using Biomatrix home care products (spray and/or serum). After peeling from the 1st day (the day of the procedure) and for 3 subsequent days, serum / spray is applied 5 times a day with an interval of 2-3 hours, then 1-2 times a day.

Erythema, which can persist from several hours to one day. Peeling of the skin within 2-4 days after the procedure.
